About RCA

Riverton Classical Academy (RCA) is a tuition-free public charter school offering an American classical education. As an American Classical Schools of Idaho (ACSI) member school, RCA will be the first public charter school of its kind in the Magic Valley, with the potential to serve more than 700 students and their families. The school will be located in Heyburn, Idaho. RCA will open in August of 2027 with grades K-7, and will add a grade each year until it becomes a K-12 campus.

Our vision is to form future citizens who uphold the ideals of our country’s founding and promote the continuation of our American experiment—through a classical, great books curriculum designed to engage the student in the highest matters and the deepest questions of truth, justice, virtue, and beauty.
