More than a fundraising appeal, Liberty & Learning coincides with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Because RCA’s vision is to form future citizens who uphold our country’s founding ideals, the campaign is directly aligned with this historic day. The school plans to break ground on its new building in 2026 to coincide with this historic semiquincentennial. RCA is dedicated to cultivating knowledgeable and virtuous citizens through a classical education that emphasizes the principles of our nation’s founding. As a future American Classical Schools of Idaho (ACSI) member school, RCA will be the first public charter school of its kind in the Magic Valley, with the potential to serve more than 700 students and their families.
Community Focus
RCA will not only provide an American classical, tuition-free public education to Idaho students, but it will work with the local community to bolster the shared vision of restoring American public education and its values. RCA aims to unify our area by involving parents and local leaders from all communities on both sides of the river in the educational journey of our students.

Idaho State Tax Credit
In addition to federal tax credits applicable to 501c3 organizations, Idaho has a unique tax credit opportunity specifically for contributions to schools. Under this rule, gifts to Riverton Classical Academy may qualify for a 50% tax credit (a reduction in the actual tax you owe). This credit is available regardless if you itemize deductions. If you itemize your taxes, a donation to RCA allows income tax deductions on your state and federal returns, plus a 50% Idaho income tax credit.
